To become patient...

"Why do we get so upset by the length of time we have to spend in the waiting room? It's called a waiting room!" (Jerry Seinfeld)

...we have to become a good patient...allowing life to do its healing work on you. If you've ever recovered from surgery, you know how difficult it is to heal patiently.

This is going to sound weird, but I urge us all to be a little narcissistic here. When circumstances seem to be stacked against you, delaying your plans and rewards till long past your breaking point, embrace it. Dare to believe that yes, the universe is conspiring against you, so you can learn a powerful lesson...

...to wait like a good patient.
